Today was one of the sian days in school. Never felt so tired before.

Results are disappointing so I shall not elaborate but the English is something I can never forget. It was appalling to find out I failed my Compre very terribly. Now I wonder if I can even pass English... need a 14 for Summary. The paper was demanding, yes, but it probably serves as a major wake-up call, no?

Furthermore, looking at how my classmates have vastly improved in terms of academics, an urgent action needs to be taken or I'll screw my chances of 6 points.

Tomorrow's Learning Journey, going to SAFTI. Hope it's a nice place. And there's 3 days of motivational workshop from Thursday to Saturday, 0800-1800 hrs, teaching us muggers how to be more effective muggers. At least there're no lessons =D

After a month or so it's time to update this space.

Sec 4 life is quite hard and I believe many students are still adapting. Prelims was over a few days ago and it was a disaster.

Today I got back my CL O level results. A B3. Looking at how the school fared, it's disappointing.

Even though the Chinese teachers have been persuading us B3s to drop Sec 4 HCL, I will not. After taking the subject for so long, why drop it at the last? Anyway I'm given the chance to continue so I'll take it. But I'm fully aware it's a last-chance saloon for me.

I'll prove that I'm not like one of the 29 people who failed Sec 4 HCL O's.

It's the last day of 2009. I've still not completed my homework and my project's stuck but it's nearing completion.

How time flies. Another year has passed and in the blink of an eye, I'm a Secondary 4 tomorrow and it'll be time to prepare for O levels. Looking back into the year...

It's been an eventful year, coping with studies and CCA, certainly tested my time-management skills. I've also learnt a lot.

I feel that I've done reasonably well for studies this year but if I want to achieve my dream then I must work hard. Especially in Chinese. Thanks to all the great teachers that my class have. Hope to see as many of them teaching us next year.

I've learnt more from NPCC. Since taking over in May, there were new responsibilities and new challenges. I can't say I've done a bad job, but also not a good one either. But I'm glad that I have the chance to lead.

There's only 5 months left in NPCC and only a year left in CHS. There're only 2 aims for me:

- work hard, do well in O levels, and
- be a better Drill Instructor.

For now, let us enjoy the remaining of 2009.

I'm still only halfway done with my homework. (Never mind I know there are people out there who ask: "What's homework?") XD

But today has been rather unpleasant.

It seems as though I'm getting beaten by the waiting game.
I've waited 5 hours and nothing happened.
The cold shoulder hurts. Getting it twice feels as though I'm stabbed. It's not the first time I've felt this way, but this time the feeling was the most terrible and most painful one.
Every time I contemplate my move, it seems as though I'm correct but half a day later I think "I should have done something else".
I wonder what wrong I did.

*sighs* Never mind don't bother reading this. You won't understand what I mean.

On a side note, last BK training later at 9.
Hopefully the renovations have finished and we can use the auditorium.

Annual Camp over... quite tiring.

Day 1.
Quite slack day. Watching campers play games.
Cup noodles for meals.
Debrief from 12 to about 2 at night, briefing for Night Hike.
Washed up, slept at 3.30 for 2 hours.

Day 2.
Woke up at 5.30. Still felt very sleepy that day.
Wet activities in the afternoon was fun.
Then wash-up, went for Night Hike.
Reached Leisure Park at 6, started the long walk back to CHS at 6.30.
Followed my group.

Walked from Leisure Park -> Marina Square -> Fort Canning Park -> Plaza Sing. -> Lucky Plaza -> Newton Food Centre -> Novena Square -> MacRitchie Reservoir Park -> CHS.

Not as long as OAL from CHS to Changi, but still tiring nevertheless.
Couldn't walk properly when I reached school at 2+.
De-brief, slept at 3+ again.

Day 3.
Woke up at 6.50.
Nothing much that day, packed up and went home.

Now all the camps are over. Full focus on homework.

Yesterday I watched Arsenal take on Chelsea. Final score 3-0 to Chelsea. I conclude that Arsenal cannot score without van Persie.

Time to update this dying space.

Went for Sec 2 RC on Thursday and Friday.
Gathered in school at 9+ and took MRT to Pasir Ris.
Waited for YH and then set off for Ehub.
Bought drinks for BBQ first, then went for 2 games of bowling.
Didn't have time for lunch as we had to check in at the resort first.
Walked quite a long way to the resort and check-ed in.

BBQ at night. Sec 2s did all the barbequing for us, lol.
Played cards next, for like 4 hours plus?
Around 1+ I felt quite tired, but couldn't sleep, so I went to bathe.
Finally went to sleep at 3+.

Woke up at 8 the next day, packed up, checked out and went home.

1-star kayaking on Saturday and Sunday.
Nothing to say, except that my face and thighs are burned terribly.
Should be able to get my 1-star.

Now that many activities are over, I can finally concentrate on studies.

Today I sat for one of the most ridiculous CL papers in my life. I have kissed goodbye to my A2.

Went to check out the resort and its surroundings after the exam with Jeremy, YH, HH and Clayton. Nice chalet. Hope that there is no screw-ups on RC this Thursday.

O Level Chinese is over but I'll rest for this week. Next week I shall start work proper.

CCA. Got screwed twice by officers. Today was the muster parade and I didn't promote. =(
2nd class Drill Badge is a bit of a consolation...
Anyway there were only 4 SSGTs so never mind, but there's a tinge of regret as I'll need to work even harder in Sec 4.
Hmm... maybe that was also the last day where we'll see Mrs Chew in NP... could be better if she was giving me a SSGT rank as a "farewell gift"... haiz...

Anyway congrats to all the CPLs who promoted, now we're equal so we cannot suan each other XD

Things cannot work out the way I want, they way they want.

Day 1 of the EOYs is over. Today was Geog and EL Paper 1. For EL Paper 1 I wrote an expository essay on fear. Doesn't sound correct does it?
Geog - no comments except that I nearly didn't finish in time. LORMS is quite hard. Some guy did all 4 questions 0.o amazing.

Tomorrow - EL Paper 2 and Physics. Screw Physics. Anyway let's just hope that tomorrow's paper is easy.

EL Oral today is a damn screwed up *****.

I wasn't the first to take... sian. By the time it was my turn it was like 5pm and the examiner himself also look quite sian. So I see my oral marks also will become sian!

Anyway it's the picture and conversation that I screwed up... the examiner prompted me countless times and the question got no link to the convo/picture -.-

2 weeks to EOY and 9 subjects to mug. That makes 2/9 of a week to study for 1 subject... gotta make use of time!

Time to update.

I'm awaiting a busy 1 month. Homework, revision, promotion test. Then after the 1 month I'll party hard.

It's strange I have the drive to study in school and not at home. But I'm still going to study at home.

Today the teacher continued to ______________ because of ___________ (See if you know what I'm thinking about). I got suan-ed by Elvin Kua again - never mind I'll get used to it.

Outdoor PT for NP. Ran up and down 24 storeys. I fell down and hurt my knee.

On the way down to the 1st floor I saw this small kid who looked damn scared of me. When I continued climbing down she ran back into her house and screamed, saying that she'd SEEN A MONSTER.

!!!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!!!?!??

Then running at Bishan Park. I didn't really go run. Went to Bishan Active next - for soccer. Returned to school at 6+. Debriefed Sec 1s and dismissed.

Went to school for Physics remedial today. 3 hours in the classroom, instead of the 2 1/2 as stated by the teacher. So it ended at 1 and I couldn't have lunch.

Training started at 1. Did drills first. From what I saw I can see that many people are not prepared (especially that Samuel) so I wonder how they can get their LCP. A few on the other hand can pass easily. Campcraft next. They actually told me they forgot 8 basic knots -.- Like that how to promote.

After training played soccer with some of them for 1 hour. Got the opportunity to bond with them. The good thing is that I managed to survive for 1 hour on an empty stomach =D Went home at 5.30.

Tomorrow I have to start homework, revision proper.

Had the Heritage Trail today. Quite slack. Stoned at the GGS HQ for like 1 hr or so. My Hershey's chocolate melted so quickly =(
Then back to Catholic High for debrief, prize presentation. Dismissed at 6.45. One activity down, many others left.

I find it weird that I have the drive to study in school but I become lazy at home, when usually I'm more comfortable with the opposite. Maybe I should spemd more time in school studying?

I've made mistakes that I cannot erase. Like yesterday for example. I've wasted 1+ hrs, and I'm on the verge of doing the same today. This has to stop or I'll go nuts and start killing people.

Happy Teachers Day! (Rather it should be happy "one-day" holiday)

I wanted to post yesterday but was too tired. So I'll post today.

I could've done without the 2 lessons yesterday. Then had a 45 minute break, waste more time. Then celebrations. Blahblahblah...

Went back to primary school after that. It's changed a lot since the past 2 1/2 years. I remember there're TVs around like CHS, just that the TVs in PCPS broadcast Channel 8 o.0 Anyway I came back very late, thanks guys for waiting for me =D

Went out with them, walk here walk there but didn't join them for their BBQ. Went home to rest instead and finalise my heritage trail stuff.

Today is a slacker day... went out to 拜祖先, came back and did nothing at home... exams are on Thursday and I've not started revision... die liao. Maybe I should become a mugger for the next 2 months?

1 more week to holidays...

Training yesterday. had to prepare them for their promotion test next term. I rushed the syllabus I had to cover and I forgot about giving them water breaks and the timer became dehydrated. -.-
Towards the end it became a bit of a tekan session by the CIs. I can see that some or most of them are lacking in confidence in themselves and their drills can be much, much better...

I believe it's due to the fact that they had few training sessions due to H1N1, not because they can't do drills so it's not their fault if their drills aren't up to scratch yet. But I still hope they will put in their utmost best for their test and I don't want to see 18 people each stoning for 5 mins or so and wasting everyone's time.

Speaking of promotion test, I musn't forget mine. I want that SSGT sooner rather than later and that 2nd Class.

I've to prepare for a busy Term 4 - exams, CCAs, etc.

My old Samsung phone is causing me one huge problem. I can't seem to receive any messages on time. Which means, if a message is sent to me at 7 pm I receive it an hour later. Or perhaps it's just my feeling. But my SE phone was definitely better.

My carelessness resulted in me losing my phone... *sighs*. I want that phone back. But I can't. Either I find the money to repair it or stick to the old phone. And I've decided.

I'll find the money. $128 may be a large amount but I'll beat the odds. I've promised myself that.

I can't believe I scored 25/40 for Chem. That's like shit. Seriously, I expected to score a 35 or better... then now my best science will pull down my grades.
Even though the paper was hard, that's no excuse cause people like Gavin Ng can score 38! Wth... I wonder how he mugs lor. I should ask him.

Got full marks for E Maths and 27/30 for A Maths, well since both papers were easy and others did well that's scant consolation.

Went for some CIP today. The organiser was some breastfeeding organisation. Quite boring - we just packed goodie bags and I volunteered to distribute flyers. Could get to reach home early at the same time.

There's some Chinese drama tomorrow. Hope it's better than the Lord of the Flies.

Had optional training today. 6 people turned up. That's 1/3 of the squad.
I thought that none would turn up but a few came so that's good.
Still, I hope more would turn up.

I learnt something important during that 1 hour. A VERY IMPORTANT thing.

In other words, I'm not going anywhere at all. Stuck on the same point.

It wasn't tiring but it certainly wasn't welfare.
Before the STC was the E Maths, Bio and SS paper.
All I want to say is that I hope I can pass Bio.

The only thing was, I didn't do the Jetty Jump. =(
I've got many mosquito bites. Countless.

Now I'm very lazy. I don't feel like going to school and I dunno why.
I want to slack. Maybe it's because others had enjoyed their weekends but not me. How I want my free time.

Tomorrow's the Survival Camp. Why do they call it Survival camp when we're not thrown out into the wilderness and left to survive on our own?
It's a 3 days and 2 nights camp, so that means I would not be able to watch the opening round of BPL matches on Saturday.

Exams are nearly over. Tomorrow's the last 3 papers - A Maths, Bio, SS. I wonder if this is "saving the best for the last". Then while many students can celebrate the end of yet another horrible week, I, with the rest of my squadmates, shall spend the weekends in Ubin.
And my LOTF project is not yet finalised. I'll have to spend the half of Sunday chiong-ing it I guess - or I'll just go sleep and forget about it.

I haven't packed my bag yet. I have not started revision. I shall stop lamenting.
I just want this horrible week to end. Quickly.

Watched the National Day parade. I was quite shocked to see Mark on the screen. My first reaction was OMG!!! Luckily I didn't choke on my food. XD
I didn't say the pledge at 8.22 p.m. I wonder how many people watching the celebrations at home actually did it.
I also noted that during the March Pass of the parade, I saw some flag bearers bearing NTUC flags and some of the flag bearers were actually aunties/uncles who were roughly 40-50 yrs old. And their arm swings are like OMG!!! So co-ordinated! And the marching was quite up to standard!
That set me thinking: if aunties/uncles in their mid-forties can march so well, why can't we?
Hmm maybe I'm wrong, but still the marching was quite good.

Later I watched the Community Shield. All seemed well until Wayne Rooney threw away my $36 in the last minute. But his goal should be disallowed as he's offside. =(
Never mind at least Chelsea won. But I'm still feeling bitter about the $36.

Tomorrow shall be spent cramming stuff into my head. I'm feeling envious of some students whose schools do not have exams in Term 3. If only Catholic High was the same.

NDP Celebration 09

NDP celebrations at school today. I was in the parade.
We screwed up the marching-in. Partially our fault and also the band's fault.
Stoned for half an hour before being dismissed.

Then was inter-class soccer.
Played one game only, vs teachers.
I didn't concede, but I knew I didn't play well. I was exposed on more than one occasion. Thanks Mr JT for not scoring the open goal.
Sustained a few cuts on my leg and a very painful blister on my left hand. =(
Next time I should wear gloves.

Returned home at 12+, had my lunch and bathed before setting off for HQ's house.
Did the LOTF project. Nearly done with it =D
Reached home at 5.30.

MR is next week. 2 exams per day for 4 days, time to enter the mugging status.
Then there's STC. Not a good way to celebrate the end of exams.

Had the ICAS test today. Somewhat similar to primary school except that the questions seem easier. Hope to get the High Distinction cert but it's not easy.

Exams begin tomorrow. Since it's English there's nothing much to study for. Maybe I'll go study some vocab.

Can't wait for EPL to start. Then I can watch some football instead of killing my eyes in front of the PC.

And it's been 6 days. I think it's pretty pointless torturing myself. But I'll be patient and wait.

As I correctly foresaw, I fell sick 3 days ago. Still in the process of fully recovering, hope I can do so by tomorrow morning.

I'm chiong-ing everything I can now - homework, LOTF, revision. Exam is next week but revision is not done.

P.S. I think Arsene Wenger is a fuck-ed up bastard. First he sold Adebayor to Man City, now Toure is following. I don't think Arsenal will win anything again, let alone finish 4th. Might as well give it to Man City.

I don't want to fall sick. But I think I will, sooner or later. I think it isn't worth to get ill at this point oft time, especially when there are some important events upcoming.

Bio test - screwed, A Maths test - uber screwed.
I waited for about 3 1/2 weeks for today, where there finally is training. Taught drills for 2 hours straight and I had only a sip of water. Now I'm still thirsty. At least I'm pleased with the efforts of the Sec 1s and I think - at long last - there's signs of improvement. =D

In the twinkle of an eye, Term 3 will pass by soon. As mentioned, many upcoming events to prepare for and plan.

Training cancelled tomorrow. I know the juniors are ecstatic (did I spell correctly?)... so their training on Friday shall be interesting. XD

Got a 35/40 for Physics test. The test was quite simple so scoring high should be expected... at the same time I made a few careless mistakes or I could've scored higher. Haiz... we humans are never satisfied aren't we?

Tomorrow is the O level Listening Comprehension for Higher Chinese. Good luck everyone. I'll start digging my ears later. Hope I can score full marks, not the 10 marks I got for term 3.

Studying Chemistry now. Feeling quite sian from the studying. Hopefully the test will be easy.

For 3 weeks there wasn't training. At least this week have, though only 1 hour. What can we do with an hour? Practically not a lot, but some things. I know the juniors are very happy that that there's no CCA for 3 weeks, so I'll ensure their trainings are fun. If you get what that fun means. =D

Before the Oral I thought that the topic would be on swine flu. Turns out I was so horribly wrong. I was fortunate that there were no China scholars taking before me - or else I'll score damn badly. =D

I'm starting to think that swine flu is one fucking virus.

Because of swine flu, there is no CCA. 2 weeks = 4 trainings, what can I do with 4 trainings?
I can respect the fact that the government wants to take safety precautions. But seriously,

On a lighter note (I don't want to continue my tirade on swine flu),
talked to the Sec 1s about a few important stuff today. I just want to tell you guys that your batch is actually very good but it lacks discipline and your PT standard isn't really there so probably you can go work and train on your fitness.

I also found out that when I was talking to the Sec 1s, there was this fucking extra guy who absolutely loves to interrupt what I like to say. (not the NCC Air guys, nor Jeremy, Gabriel or HH)

1000+ cases for swine flu in S'pore, thats good I hope school closes down but not CCA. Anyway if school closes that means there's no CCA -.-

Had some CIP @ some weird place, Changi Exhibition Center I think. Overall I think quite slack, but I TCS too much with Sec 1s, kenna scolded in the end.
Came back to school had a nice changing parade, then rushed home and bathed before I set off for Swissotel for the AYG exhibition. I took the wrong route and wasted 15 mins -.-

The whole event lasted like 2 hours or so. A bit slack as well. After that I went out with my parents and bro. Reached home at 10.

So it's essentially a whole day outside for me. I'm terribly exhausted.

I wanted to scold the Sec 1s regarding punctuality today. In the end I decided not to. This same old problem always occurs and it has occurred before - I don't have the guts to scold them.

After thinking for a few hours, I've concluded:

So with effect from 1 July 2009, I shall unleash the sadistic demons in me. =D

I'll create history by admitting the whole of the 33rd batch to A & E @ KK Hospital. =D
Every training is going to be hell. They'll turn into zombies the day after training. Then I'll turn all of them into veggies within a month. Survivors shall be sent to Woodbridge. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA =D

School has started.

I still need time to adjust (like all others). For the past few days I've been sleeping at 1+ and waking up at noon.

The time has come to mug - again. After a one month hiatus from school it's back to reality.

Anyway first day of school a bit boring, slept during Chinese. Then I found out in my half-awake status that O level Oral is next week!

OMG OMG got to study soon - though I hope school closes and so does Oral =D

According to my timetable tomorrow, first period is GEOG! "Great way" to start the day.

LMSC is over!

I would like to thank all the CIs, especially my squad instructors, for making the course a memorable and enriching one for me. I've certainly learnt alot from the 3 days. And Bravo squad certainly has the best people in the area =D

Anyway, as the CIs said, back to reality. I can start on my homework proper from tomorrow onwards. I swear I shall not procrastinate (however you spell it). I will also have to start preparing for a lot of CCA stuff, like the training for Sec 1s, etc.

Today was Day 1 of the LMSC (Leadership & Mentoring Skills Course). The course was a bit boring on the first day. But the CIs there were quite good - not all though - and the course was slightly slack.

2 more days of the course left, which reminds me that Wednesday I'll miss Bio remedial D=. Anyway I've got a reflection to do by the CIs and I've still got to polish up my uniform... sian.

OK now I'll start on my OBS post.

Day 1, 8/6/2009

Reached Punggol Jetty at 7.40 or so and waited for the rest to arrive. We entered the building and waited for other groups to arrive. After an hour or so we split into our groups.

I was in Livingstone (names of groups are after explorers). Lazy to type out names of group members，Cat High ppl in my group are Clayton, Weimin and Jiawei.
Play those icebreakers. Then set off for Ubin.

After reaching there we split into our roles. I was Store IC with Clayton. went to check out the store. Then lunch, and other activities.

In the evening we learned to pitch tents. First day pitched ours in the dark. Field-cooked our dinner. The rest of the night do some packing up for the expedition from Tuesday to Thursday. Couldn't really sleep in the 1st day cause the tent was very hot and stuffy.

Day 2, 9/6/2009

Morning did rock-climbing. I managed to scale to the top of the 12m wall =D

Afternoon was solely on kayaking. During capsizing drill I lost my specs! =(

Kayaked to Camp 1 - the best campsite. The dinner there was cooked as well. But the campsite was abit more ulu than on the first day. Pitched tents in the dark again. Slept better this time - heads at the entrance of the tent.

Day 3, 10/6/2009

The whole day was spent kayaking around 13km, or 3/4 of Ubin, to our 3rd campsite. I kayaked with my bro. From one of the last to one of the first then dropped back again.

Reached the campsite at 3+, no chance to bathe though. Toilets were a mile away without potable water. Pitched tents then went to slack cause I felt abit worn out. Dinner then slept at 10+. Nobody woke me up for sentry =D.

Day 4, 11/6/2009

Walked the whole day with my back-crushing backpack around Ubin, back to our campsite on the first day. Very very tiring. At times I felt like dying. Our group was the last to reach the campsite but nevertheless I felt relieved that we returned safe.

Cooked dinner at night, then I had a good bath, my first since Tuesday. Back to tents at 11, talked till we slept around 12.

Day 5, 12/6/2009

Last day in jail. Packed up and packed the store as well. We lost a few things so we had to pay $7.50 in total, shared among 14 people. Ferry-ed back to Punggol at 2+. Didn't want to buy the shirt cause I'd not enough money.

Went to eat with Cat High ppl after that, reached home at 5+.

I wasn't tired though - I slept at 11 yesterday.

I think that OBS was ok, it had it good and bad points. But what I'll learn from OBS is certainly priceless. All the important points on leadership, and other values like trust, co-operation, teamwork, etc... all to precious to lose.

My legs felt crushed and my skin was cracking and peeling off. Though it's ok now it was terrible yesterday. I felt better being wheelchair-bound. But my skin - urgh. The skin in my nose has peeled off. Even the skin on my face is peeling, not the whole face but some parts of it.
I wonder what people will say to me if I go for LMSC with a red nose and a face with patches of dark and white skin.

Amyway I survived OBS. Now back to more pressing matters - homework and NPCC.

Tomorrow I'll be off to OBS "prison camp" for 5 days. 5 days in "jail" at Ubin.

OBS = no soccer news for 4+ days. No computer, no Mafia Wars (anyway can kick the addiction). No handphone. No need to do homework. No holiday this week.

Since I've voluntarily signed up for it, it's better to make OBS "prison camp" a nice one for me. I believe the camp will make me a better person anyway.

Meanwhile I'll have to pack my bags and prepare to "serve my jail sentence" tomorrow. But I'll be back on Friday.

Yesterday was Day 2 of the PK/Homefront Security Course. The test was quite easy so I should be able to get both badges. Anyway I'm glad that the whole course is over cause the hall was very hot and cramped and I was suffering in the hall for 7 hours or so. I also remember sitting behind some very fat guy and he stinks like shit.

Had Police Knowledge course today, Day 1 was spent suffering in the hot, non air-conditioned hall from the whole morning to afternoon scribbling down 9 pages of notes, with more suffering tomorrow.

After tomorrow, I'll start on all my homework. Since I can't bring homework to Ubin next week I'll start on Friday. Then I can go for OBS without worrying about my homework.

While most people should be, or are relaxing, I have the HCL Oral to take.
Frankly, I don't see the use of mugging for 50 possible topics when there's a chance that not a single one of them will be the question tomorrow. Anyway I'd probably do well to prepare a bit.

Whole of next week is OBS. I'll probably be marooned at Pulau Ubin for a 100 hours or so digging my own toilet for half the course.

Screw homework.
A few years back I saw it as a mere time-killer in the holidays, now it's like a burden to complete in a holiday where my time has been cut short due to many activities.

I'm getting bombarded by homework. I'm tired, very tired. Today I remember sleeping during the HCL lecture on Oral, and again during Assembly.

Today on the way home I had to pay 55 cents cause my card had too little money. And it turned out my card had 43 cents! One more cent and I could have had the exact fee for the bus ride!

The 33rd Batch.

Today was the NPCC Day parade. The Sec 1s performance really disappointed me - before, during and after the parade.

Before - uniform parts were quite terrible. Even though it's their first time wearing the full u it was really atrocious.
During - adjust adjust adjust, according to my classmates. People squatting down during the parade.
After - people all toppling like dominoes. By then I thought they looked half-dead.

Haiz. Seriously Sec 1s, you guys must buck up.

Let's talk about today.

Chemistry SPA. I burned my nose after taking a deep whiff of aqueous ammonia. Anyway ammonia is not as smelly as chlorine.
I'm quite satisfied with my English score, 67/100 (my languages suck so a B is good enough). But my E Maths was disappointing, a little bit of complacency got into my head and I didn't put in effort. Results in carelessness and bad grades.

After school, played soccer when I should have gone home and slept as I was very tired. I came to the same old conclusion that I can never play soccer except when I'm a GK.

At around 6, Kenneth called and asked me to check his uniform, so I went to check. I can't believe he seasoned his beret wrongly -.-
In the process I found out that if I want to achieve my goal still got some things to do but I'm impressed that he got most things right. So I hope the Sec 1s will give me a satisfactory uniform.
Stayed at his house for 1 hour+, correcting his minor mistakes, had a little TCS with him before going back home.

I think I'll go sleep. I'm exhausted.
And the effects of ammonia are still lingering in me.

Script checks are over.

I couldn't believe I scored better than I expected for Geog and SS, my humanities saved me this term =D

Then my Sciences pulled me down on the other hand. Bio was a terribly screwed paper, so screwed and I counted 52/100 at first, but when I reached home I realised it was 60.5/100! Lol so I didn't do that badly after all.

I didn't fail any subjects this exam =D. But this serves as a little wake-up call to us I hope, so we will put in more effort and not obtain shit results again.

Took the Sec 1s again. Being a DI is a very very tiring job. I remembered I zao-sia 2 times, then the Sec 1s start to laugh, but I didn't pump them. And some ppl love to sway like trees in strong wind. Hmm perhaps it's time to really show my true colours.

Hmm... script check is nearly over.

A Maths not what I expected... I hoped for at least a 65/80... never mind.
Got into the Hall of Fame for Chem... lol I wish my score would be like that in O levels.
I topped 3-8 in History too (not trying to be proud), that's because many failed and I managed to predict correctly the essay question, so it was just a stroke of luck coupled with the class' poor results.

So far all my subjects were quite okay, with the exception of Physics. Maybe I should have taken Chem-Bio instead.

After school we had some sort of meeting with Mr Yong, learnt alot of meaningful stuff, hmmhmm now I think that there's alot of work that needs to be done if I were to achieve my goal.

But no worries! I'll accomplish "mission impossible" by next year!

I'm glad to have passed my Physics and English! 56/100 and 28/50 respectively =)
Hmm, I have a knack for scraping passes in exams.

Anyway, first training for the Sec 1s today. I think their training was abit too hardcore for them =D. That's good as what doesn't kill them makes them stronger.
To be frank they're okay, not as horrible as I anticipated, but certainly their drills can improve, and in other aspects too. Overall quite fun but very tiring and now I'm physically drained.

Before that I had the Bio paper. Undoubtedly the hardest of the 12. After the Bio paper I went to HTA with Clayton and Ronald to return No.1 uniform. Reached school around 2+ then changed and fall-ed in at 3.

I learnt that I would be the CC for my squad, which means that I will scream my throat to death. And all those rehearsals under the blazing hot sun...

Geog = quite screwed, 1 structured essay wrote out of point, so there's 8 marks gone. Hope I can do well or Nafizath will call my parents then I'm doomed.

English Language 1. Ok bah, except that I figured out I couldn't understand what I was writing at times. Should pass at least. I wrote 1K+ words for 2 essays, and I still had 15 mins left to check and slowly count my words =D

Tomorrow is HCL + History Elect, I'll score well for both and hope I can prove myself that there's hope of salvaging my screwed Term 2.

When I see the stacks of revision notes and practice papers I lose the motivation to study. Staring at the notes blankly won't help. This is extremely unlike my usual self.

Things Fall Apart? Yeah my studies are falling apart.

Exams in less than a week, must focus and concentrate.

I'd better finish that chunk of Mid-Year practice papers before the exam. Intensive mugging also starts now.

NPAP Parade

Yesterday, woke up at 10, go polish boots, and did a bit of homework before I went to school.

12.30 set off for HTA.

When we reached there CIs started screwing us.
"Walk some more!" "Take your own sweet time!"

And then one "You want to walk can, go home walk in a park" -.-

Went to put our bags in some small congested classroom with air-con, then got briefing on the whole day schedule.
After that was rehearsal. As usual, reserves go grandstand sit, watch watch watch then finish rehearsal go break.
Then we went back to change into No.1 before returning to the Drill Shed.
By then 5++ liao I think, parade starting quite soon. For a moment it looked as though it was going to rain but thankfully it didn't :D

6.00, parade started. Reserves were NOT ALLOWED to watch the parade for some abominable reason, so we had no choice but to stone around in the Drill Shed. Sian. All the reserves sian I also very sian but can't complain.
Waited for an eternity before the flag bearers came back. After that got free time to slack :D

Walked around the Drill Shed with Clayton (cause we're not allowed to leave) and went to find some people we know. Saw Ruijie sir, Jackson sir and Mr Chen (but he saw us and went to the toilet instead) -.-

I borrowed some guy's phone and asked my parents to come down to the Drill Shed to take photos.

Waited for the GOH boys to put back their rifles and dismiss, before we went to find our squad. Met Bryan CI and some officers from Area 4. Quite disappointing to see only 13 people going to support us. Gavin said I looked damn 帅, omg I wonder if that was a compliment or trying to suan me. Then take photos with squad.
7.45 go debrief, then entered the Harmony Hall for our dinner. The food there quite nice but there were no drinks left. And got air-con :D

After the dinner marched back to the classroom, changed and left HTA for school.
Reached home around 10+ and I was very tired but i wouldn't go to sleep.

At last, after 11 trainings and 1 full dress rehearsal, the parade has ended. A bit saddening to think that I will not have a chance to participate in parade trainings next year.

The 6 of us have worked hard for the past 2 months or so. Whether we make it to the actual parade itself is not that important to me. What matters is that at least we made it to NPAP and get the chance to wear the No.1 uniform. The CIs also said we are the pride of our units and that everyone including the reserves should also feel proud and I agree.

The fun that we had before and after trainings are over, but I'll never forget them. I'll never forget the experience of NPAP trainings, and of course the CIs whom the flag bearers have worked with, Zhiguang sir, Farith sir and Mark sir. They're a great bunch of CIs.

So our 12 trainings or so are over and I definitely will miss NPAP. Back to normal trainings.

Whoops I know this is a very long post. Anyway I won't put photos now, maybe the next post.

Bio paper = killer. Ah well let's not brood about it.
Didn't take the English test but I heard the re-test is very hard =(

Today was the 11th, and the last, NPAP training before the parade.
Sum up in 4 words, slack, eat, slack, drills. I also found out that:

- I can beat an officer in drills! One of the Parade Commanders couldn't really do drills, partly due to his size, but he's quite humourous. Never mind I shan't say about him any longer.

- I may not get the chance to even watch the Parade =(. During the parade I may be slacking in some air-con room, who knows? But I want to watch the Parade. If not what's the use of attending so many trainings and don't watch the Parade at all? Never mind I shall find out tomorrow.

- Some flag bearer from another school quite extra, very action during training. I feel like slapping his balls. Somemore he keep calling GOH Flag Party Reserves as "backup", just because he is in the Parade and he thinks he can act like some big guy and order us, the reserves, around. Bastard.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we got less than half of the tickets we were supposed to get. Haiz.

I shall polish my boots tomorrow. I want to slack today, even though exams are coming, homework needs to be done I put the non-urgent stuff as my No.1 priority.

Tomorrow's the day, according to the CIs. Lol whether the parade will be a good one it's not up to me since I'm a spectator (I hope).

Last night, my leg cramped for no apparent reason, around 3 am. wtf and that cost me my sleep.

Geog test is quite easy, but I had a flu and I kept rubbing my nose and the worst thing is my mucus nearly dripped onto the test paper! I wasted some time trying to prevent the flood of mucus streaming out my nose. Thanks Eugene Nah for spreading your flu to me -.- Haha but I spammed tissue paper in class and I'm now flu-free =)

Tomorrow still have Bio test, sian must score well or not Mid-Year exam don't score well = die. Exams in 2 weeks, no motivation to study at all. Hopefully I continue like that in O levels, then I can go ITE.
Still have to polish boots and do the Probability Remedial Worksheet, wtf.

I'm so tired and I'm not confident in tomorrow's Geog test.

2nd last training today. Do drills, then sit at the stands watch rehearsal. Never used No.1 =)
The band performing was not bad, but too loud. Also watched abit of the post-parade performance, which is fancy drills. Waited for the GOH people until 7+, boarded the bus at 7.40. While marching back to the carpark...

I felt like punting that sh*thole. We were carrying our bags with both hands so we were like walking and we weren't marching. Bastard.

I had no idea what time I reached home, but I knew that I had not much time to revise for the Geog test. However I can't believe I was using Facebook just now OMG wrong thing to do at the wrong time.

3 short days of holidays... nearly over.

Tomorrow's 5 stations for NAPFA, best I can get is a Silver. Pathetic isn't it?
I must aim for As in all stations (though I know I can't for Shuttle Run).

Yesterday Arsenal beat Wigan 4-1 =)
I was thinking of UEFA Cup for Arsenal next year until Walcott scored.
Hope Villa and Everton draw today, benefits neither side.

I should be going for OBS. 5 days 4 nights camp in November holidays, what a great time-killer. And it should be damn fun :D

There's a CIP today, which I wanted to sign up for, but I forgot to tell Mrs Chew on Thursday.
I spent my time at home revising and finishing my homework, though I'm feeling too lazy to do anything today. But if I want to do better this term, all the hard work must come now.

Haha omg Chelsea beat Liverpool 3-1! Liverpool all but out of Champions League.

Physics Class Test: 32/40 (casue the paper was easy). Hopefully the Common MR is easy too.
Next week is Class Test Week, where I'll be missing quite a number of Class tests (Bio, Geog, English) so I'll take like 3-4 of them in the span of 1-2 days the week after next. Because I'm missing many lessons as well I must make use of these 3 days to really mug. 9 subjects in 3 days, 3 subjects in 1 day. Catch up on what I missed out.
Ya and I love the life of being a reserve.

And I must make a habit not to sleep anymore in class. No more ZZ Monsters for me! =D

Had 2.4 km run today. I ran like shit and I think I got lapped by a million people. My timing was 13:12 mins. There goes my Gold but I'm not re-taking the test.
So I must train harder.

NPAP Full Dress Rehearsal

Had Full Dress Rehearsal (Preview) today.

I woke up damn damn early, around 5.45, because of ZQ's message.
Ronald's dad fetched me to school. And I went to school in Half U ZZZ!
Set off for HTA at about 7.30.

After placing our bags I went to take flag stash and flagpole + take attendance.
Then I went to sit at the Grandstand for goodness knows how long.
Finished 1st rehearsal and there was a 12-min break.
By the time I changed into No.1, there was no one in the Mess left. Haiz no break.
Then did some drills. My standard is dropping =( and I felt so thirsty. And there were some kids and NCDCC people who kept staring at us.
No.1 is definitely nicer than Full U but the sleeves are long.
Went back to Grandstand, watched the rehearsal for 2 more times.

Before we left we took some photos. I bet I look super un-glam (I've never appeared smart in photographs before). Anyway I don't mind knowing how ugly I am -.-

By the time I reached school I was quite worn out so I stayed and rested awhile before going home with Ronald.

Had PNCO for Sec 2s today.

Earlier in school today Tze Xian tried to play a joke on me. Thankfully I wasn't so gullible to fall for it.

Had to tell the Sec 2s to fall in at 3.30. Their supposed fall-in time was 3.50 OMG!? All the other squads fall in already and they have 50 mins to slack ZZZ!

Anyway I took their attendance. Frankly it was a little miserable. Then taught them jadikan dua and tiga barisan kekanan lurus. Their drills are OK though got room for improvement...

Tent-pitching next. I taught the theory part and the bowline. Lol most of them knew how to tie though I showed them how to only once or twice. The whole session went fruitful I thought. And I found out that some Sec 2s are quite good in campcraft.
Due to time constraint the tent guy loop wasn't taught, so we packed up and then de-briefed them.

Overall I felt my group was quite slack. Anyway I had no intentions to punish them (though I wanted to make them run). I'm not a sadist unlike some people.
After training played soccer. I think I mildly sprained my left ankle =(. Left school at 6.45 and 88-ed home with Ronald.

Tomorrow's a long day. I hate Thursdays. Long, boring days at school. And I'm extremely tired now.

I still have not done 袁's 3 Comprehensions (which I don't think I will do). Who cares about homework anyway. But I absolutely adore her stories as they are good time-wasters.

Chemistry Test today. So difficult but I think it's like 10% of Term 2?

I've put the buttons on for my No.1 Uniform. OMG how loose can they get!?!? The last thing I want to happen is to lose my buttons during NPAP.

Off to prepare my PNCO stuff. I don't wish to screw up. (Who does?)

Zzz I dunno why I'm using the computer now. I've finished most of my homework but I still have some tests up next week, so it's a must-study-for-them. Plus PNCO and I have to prepare all my notes. I don't want to be a failure in front of my juniors.

There was this Earth Hour thing. Hmm I didn't know why I chose to switch off all the lights but turn on the PC when I wanted to turn on the lights and take a rest. Maybe I got influenced by my brother.

NPAP Training today...

For the first time, I felt as though my presence was not significant. For the first time, I did liitle/no drills in a full training. I was sitting at the grandstand 99% of the time. It was too slack. Too slack until the boredom kicked in. I was quite unhappy that time was wasted.

But I am not blaming anyone about this. I'm just unhappy about today. Hopefully the Preview will be much more constructive for me. Hopefully.

Maybe... I'm paying the price of being a reserve.

Ouch. I have a terrible back strain.

I had 2 hours to finish Mt. Homework. I didn't as I am dead beat. Anyway who gives a heck about homework.
Fortunately I've done the more essential ones - the Geog (poor Jianhong and Hao Quan) and the Maths. I'm going to skip my HCL homework again.

Today's NPAP training - the most slack and most hardcore one I've had. During the training I was so tired that I almost FELL ASLEEP. I began to lean back and I just had time to wake up and prevent myself from collapsing on the person behind me. And I cut my finger on my BOOTS. -.-

Oh well. I have a feeling tomorrow's a screwed day for me. =(

School has re-opened. This term will be a damn hiong one for me.

I was supposed to reach school at 7.20 for some Physics extra lesson. But I came late. I had 2 mins 40 sec to complete about 15 questions. Haha I ended up copying answers instead. Not doing well in Physics for me, so it seems.
And today I passed hair check with my untidy hair! =D
Then lessons. I hate some lessons. =(
Air-conditioner leaked lots of water out. What a waste of water.
SS, finished watching the Sicko movie. I'm glad I'm not an American.
After school went to do Heritage Trail project with Levine, Andy and Chin Siong. And Levine did something damn wrong =)

Term 2 Week 1 Day 2 already got so much work to do. I have to
- polish my cracking boooooooooooooooooots and beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelt
- chiong the HCL homework or the old 袁 will start complaining. =(
- 2 worksheets on Maths. Lucky there's no Maths tomorrow.

There's an English test on Friday, but I can't attend due to NPAP. Looks like my English's screwed up again.

Oh well. I have about 5 hours to finish my Mt. Homework.

Went to HQ to collect No.1 uniform today.

In a nutshell, MRT-ed to Choa Chu Kang, bus-ed to HTA, went in, tried out and got the No.1 and walked out.

Too bad we can't get to keep the uniform, I'll be glad to do so =(
Anyway I will get the chance to wear it despite being a reserve.

I still have the Heritage Trail Project not done yet. And the deadline is next week!

Good.
I'm having a splitting headache.

It must be due to the overwhelming amount of Physics that's threatening to burst my brain. And I tried to brave the torrential rain today and I got myself a good morning bath before my Bio lesson, until one kind auntie shared her umbrella with me.

So my hair wasn't dried for the whole of the Bio lesson, and during Physics I was sitting under the fan and I was shivering but I didn't care. After everything I went to Bishan North for lunch, where the blazing hot sun wouldn't make me feel better.

Better still I've not done my homework. Not even touched Geog yet. There's Maths remedial tomorrow. So it's a great time for me to fall sick and if I don't it's a miracle.
